American investor, Mark Cuban has expressed interest in owning famous social media platform X formerly known as Twitter.

Cuban made it known that if he had the opportunity to buy the company from current owner Elon Musk, he wouldn’t sleep on it.

The Shark Tank reality TV star said this while discussing the baby boomer generation – who he calls the “Fox News generation” and how you reach them.

“I wish I could. There’s no reason for him [Elon Musk] to sell it,” Cuban said.

Mark Cuban also expressed interest in buying Fox News, “You buy Fox News,” he told Wired. “If I had enough money to do it, which I don’t, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.” Cuban, who sold his majority stake in the Dallas Mavericks NBA team earlier this year, explained how he cannot afford to purchase Murdoch’s network, despite his vast wealth.

The X app is valued at around $20 billion.

Elon bought the from Jack Dorsey at a price of $44million back in 2022 then renamed it X from former name Twitter.

X got massively refurbished allowing subscribed users to make money through engagements since the Tesla owner took over.
